My name is Mari Mitchelson. Like many of our subscribers, I’ve been lucky to share a life full of friends, family, travel, celebrations, and group adventures. And after most trips or events, the same conversation always seems to surface: Which photos are okay to post, and which ones should stay private? On top of that, photos often get buried in endless text threads, and it becomes hard to even remember who was part of the event or where the pictures were shared.
There are countless reasons someone may prefer not to have a photo posted on a large, impersonal social platform—and those decisions should always belong to the people in the photo.
I created Ok2Post not because of one bad experience, but because this conversation happens so often, and traditional group texts make it complicated. People end up sending hundreds of photos with no easy way to quietly say, “I’d rather not share that one,” without the entire group seeing it.
Ok2Post exists to solve that—giving groups a simple, organized place to upload, view, approve, and decide what’s truly Ok2Post together.
The Vision Behind Ok2Post
Ok2Post was born from real-world experiences and countless conversations about photo sharing etiquette. After group trips, the same discussion always emerged: which photos are okay to share publicly and which ones should remain private.
We realized that existing photo sharing platforms put the burden on individuals to police their own privacy after the fact. We wanted to flip that model - what if consent came first, and sharing came second?
After months of research and talking to people about their photo sharing experiences, we built Ok2Post as a premium platform that prioritizes privacy, consent, and quality over speed and virality.

All participants can upload photos and review submissions—including thumbs-down feedback—during the 5-day period.

After a 5-day review, approved group photos are ready to download and Ok2Post.
